The Nocera,
a small estate situated in Maremma Pisana, is historically
linked to the Etruscan culture. Infact at
the end of 1980, a small necropolis with
rich furnishings of orientalizing period
(from 8 to 6 century B.C.) was found. The
tombs, on top of a sunny hill surrounded
by cypresses, cherish the history of the
ancient Etruscan family called Principi
Guerrieri (Warrior Princes) who lived nearby
the necropolis, in Casalvecchio. Now on
these areas rich of history, rows of vines
produce the Casa Nocera, Casalvecchio and
Principe Guerriero wines that with their
little duck, the logo of the estate, recall
their ancient origines.
