On an area
of 5 hectares, once cultivated with cereals,
we planted a vineyard with Merlot, Sangiovese
and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Successively,
inside the estate, we built a cellar provided
with modern technologies of vinification
to guarantee the product quality.
The building is completely buried to better
fit with the landscape and, very important,
to assure the natural stability of temperature,
an essential element for obtaining high
quality wines.
With the first vinification, in 2001, we
noted that the composition of the terroir
and the favourable climate originated a
remarkable high intensity wine: so we decided
to produce 100% varietal wines to express
their character abd body.
Following
suggestions and demands coming from our
best clients, recently, we added two red
blended and one white wines.
